How to prepare for the analysis?

Usually, a clinical blood test does not require special preparation. It is not recommended to drink tea, coffee, or juices an hour before the test. As an exception, the child can be given water 15-20 minutes before the test .
It is important to inform the doctor about taking medications. Blood is taken from a finger, but in some cases, the blood can be taken from a vein. Before taking the blood, the injection site must be wiped with an alcohol swab.
