Use of Varilrix vaccine
A single dose is 0.5 ml. The vaccine should be injected subcutaneously into the deltoid muscle. It is strictly forbidden to inject the vaccine intravenously and under the skin.
Before vaccination, it is recommended to examine the child, to exclude contact with SARS patients.
Patients should be under medical supervision for 30 minutes after administration of the vaccine.

Live (attenuated) vaccine for the prevention of chicken pox.

What are the contraindications to the Varilrix vaccine?
Hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine, if complications were detected after previous vaccination, in the case of a disease accompanied by fever, the presence in the anamnesis of contact dermatitis, primary or acquired immunodeficiency.
Vaccination is contraindicated for pregnant and lactating women.

What are the side effects of the Varilrix vaccine?
After vaccination can be observed:
- Weakness;
- Increase in temperature;
- Redness;
- Rash;
- Itch;
- Pain and swelling at the injection site.
In the presence of mechanical inclusions or strange coloring of the lyophilizate or solvent, the use of the vaccine is unacceptable.
